Make your own Pinecone Birdfeeder
Making a bird feeder is a fun and easy craft for kids to make. You will need:
- Peanut Butter
- Wire or ribbon
- Bird Seed
1. Tie your ribbon or wire to the top of your pinecone, so you can hang it up later.
2. Then mix an equal amount of peanut butter and margarine, and spread over your pinecone. It is important to mix margarine in with the peanut butter because straight peanut butter can be harmful to smaller birds.
3. Then roll your pinecone around in birdseed. Put your pinecones in the freezer until the mixture hardens or let them sit out over night.
