1 Year Old Birthday Gift Idea

     It has become a tradition that I give a rocking chair to all my nieces and nephews on their first Birthday. It has been one of those gifts that get a lot of use of out. I buy an unfinished rocking chair at a craft store (Hobby Lobby works) and finish it at home. If I want to add a more complex design, I use a pencil to draw an outline before I paint. After the paint is dry I spray a coat of polyurethane on top to help protect it.
